WHY 406 FIRESIDE
Some seasons of life don't leave much room to think...
You're always answering the next text. Checking the millionth thing off your never ending to-do list. Scheduling that dentist appointment that is already way overdue. Ordering the groceries [yet again]. And thinking about next week before today is even over.
You love your life.
You're just tired.
And maybe a little disconnected from yourself.
406 Fireside was created for women who need a few quiet days in the mountains to just slow down. Reconnect with God. Laugh around the fire. Breathe in the fresh mountain air. And to simply remember who you are underneath all these responsibilities.
For four days, there are no groceries to pick up. No dishes waiting in the sink. No laundry calling your name. And no one asking, "What's for dinner?"
Just slow mornings. Hot coffee. Quiet hikes. Good conversations. A relaxing massage. Time with God. And space to simply be.
WHAT YOUR DAYS MIGHT LOOK LIKE
No two days will be exactly the same but here's the heart behind 406 Fireside.
Slow Mornings
Sleep in or wake up early to watch the sunrise. Start your day with hot coffee, a quiet morning walk, gentle movement or yoga, and time with God before gathering for breakfast.
Wellness Workshops
You'll hear from trusted experts on topics like hormones, metabolism, mindset, and stress. Workshops will be conversational. Think whiteboard and Q&A. Stories. And most importantly, practical tips you can actually use.
Slow Afternoons
Afternoons are intentionally flexible. Schedule your massage. Take a hike. Read a book on the porch. Explore the local mountain town and shop for a souvenir. Curl up with a blanket and take a nap.
Fireside Evenings
Dinner may be catered from a local favorite, cooked together in the cabin, or enjoyed at a nearby restaurant. Afterward, we will gather around the fire with cider or cocoa and worship together, watch a cozy movie, or simply stay up talking under the Montana sky.
Comfy, Cozy Vibes
Come comfortable! Think leggings. Flannels. Cozy socks. Messy buns. Hiking boots. Sweatshirts. This weekend isn't about impressing anyone. It's about feeling at home.

A Note From Lauren
Aww can you feel it already? I don't know about you but mentally, I'm already there!
I'm Lauren, by the way. Wife, mama to two boys (currently 8 years and 8 weeks old), nurse practitioner, author, and founder of Lauren Gary Wellness and 406 Fireside Retreats.
I'm not going to pretend I have it all figured out. In fact, when God called me to host a retreat in Montana...I thought no way...and I put it off for over a year because it simply felt too big and scary to me. But here we are after lots and lots of prayers...officially launching our very first mountain retreat and I'm so giddy about it!
The truth is I'm a busy, overstimulated, irritable gal a lot of the time. I'm definitely type A and always a bit of a perfectionist which often leaves me feeling frustrated and overwhelmed. But that's not really who I want to be...nor is it who God calls me to be. And I know that you may be feeling the same way. That's why I created 406 Fireside.
Not as another event or to do. But as a place to step away and finally be still. To reconnect with God. To focus on your health again. To laugh, rest, and return home feeling refreshed.
My prayer is when you leave Montana, you won't just remember the mountain views or the fireside conversations (although trust me...those things will be worth remembering!)...but what I pray is that you remember how you FELT.
Rested. At peace. And reminded that God still meets us in the quiet.
I can't wait to welcome you to Montana!
XOXO,
Lauren
